Telecommuting Work You can Do At Your House

My sister is the best writer. She ought to be. She's been in school forever and she has umpteen million degrees.

In August she had her second baby. Its October and she is just itching to go back to work. She knows I run getrichmom.com so of course she asks me if I could help her.

First I suggested that she start an online business. She made her own wedding invitations and they were amazing. Now she sells custom invitations www.elitestationarydesigns.com.

Then I told her that in order to drive more traffic to her website, she should consider writing a few Ezine Articles. As I was explaining to her about how to register with ezines, she announced ,"Im finished."

She had written her first article while I was trying to show her how to register.

I wish I had it that easy.

But for her writing is a gift. It just comes naturally. I then had a briliant idea!
She should become a freelance writer. There are sites like Elance, Associted Content( AC) that will pay her for her skill. Its a great option for someone who wants to telecommute from home.

Sure the pay varies. You could earn as little as $1.50 on a site Like AC, but there are registries that hire writers at a rate of $15 per article. Some want you on staff, so they can have original content to sell on a regular basis.

If you are interested Its defintely worth looking into. Go to getrichmom.com for a complete list of over 100 telecommuting jobs you can do from home.

Scam Free Jobs for stay at home moms

Been scammed lately?Where can you scam free jobs for stay at home moms ? Well if you go searching Google, most likely you'll find results that mention they are "scam free". But are they really?

5 Ways to Tell if a Work At Home Job is a Scam:

  1. 1 Whether you are looking for a job, or an entrepreneurial opportunity, your going to need some experience --in something. If there were really hundreds of opportunities available that you could start today with no experience, would they pay $500/day? Wouldn't everyone work these jobs instead of the traditional 9-5. Real opportunities use the phrase "entry level opportunity" rather than No experience necessary.

  2. What is the position? Oh wait...they don't tell you. Real opportunities will clearly spell out the duties of the position. One example I like to use is Liveops.com. I actually worked for them and found them to be legitimate. Check out heir website. no deception. By the time you reach the application page, you fully understand the position you are applying for.
  3. Open your Sunday Classified. Scroll through the help wanted section. Now tell me how much you'll make as an administrative assistant. With the exception of most government jobs, real employers simply don't publish the salary.Instead they will request a copy of your salary history and compensation s discussed during the interview/hiring phase.

  4. Real employers don't charge you to work for them. Period. If they request money upfront, RUN,don't walk in the opposite direction.

  5. Is there any contact information. Im not talking about email, or a contact form. Im talking about a real, verifiable physical address and a phone number that works.
Google the address listed, pull it up on Zillow. Call the phone number. If they don't make this information available, they've got something to hide or don't want to be contacted plain and simple.

Now that you know the red flags put them to good use and don't get scammed like I did. You know how the old saying goes... If it sounds to good to be true...

Are GPT Sites a Scam?

A GPT site is a "Get paid to" site. The purpose of this website is to get you to participate in some sort of offer. These include credit cards, books, ebay tools, you name it. The owner of course get paid for every submission and if you can refer others to do this, you'll get paid to.

I do not recommend this!

It had been almost 2 years since the last time I participated in a GPT program. I completed offers and convinced 6 people to join under me. When it was time to pay up, guess what? The shady site owner started finding fault with the people who joined . He deleted them all and I absolutely had no recourse. Then, because I forgot to cancel some of my trials, the offers began charging my credit cards. I was a complete waste of time and a disaster. All my work was for nothing.

C,mon! Give GPT another chance.

My website getrichmom reviews work at home opportunities so today I agreed to try GPTs again. On the warrior forum a woman had an interesting signature . She was going to pay me to complete a few offers for her. Again, I tried to complete offers. These were some sort of credit repair programs. Listen, its a headache. Don't do it!
My credit card was charged $2.95 for each of the two trial offers. However, I never got credit for the offers. I wrote the admin of the site and received this lovely reply.

" Unfortunately there isnt anything we can do when offers dont credit. The credits come from the affiliate for offers completed, and sometimes the credit never gets to where its supposed to go either because of the offerors website or because of programs we have running on our computers. And because the affiliate does not accept manual credit requests, the only thing we can do is wait a little longer for the credit to come through or try another offer. The general idea is to wait at least 7 days before worrying about the credit not coming through. Please understand also that we want you to get your credit and dont like hearing when someone didnt get credit because we dont get paid for the offers if the credit does not show up. We only get paid for offers that get credited. If you would like more information feel free to contact me on AOL messenger at superfinders. I will be glad to help. Brenda "

The Result

Basically, I wasted an hour of my time . I have emailed the site admin to inform her that her reply would be made public. I have also cancelled the trial memberships.

Since so many people are involved in these GPT sites, I had to review them for myself. I thought perhaps my experience would be different a year later. I am certain that the number of people who get ripped off dwarfs the number of people who claim to make any money with this scam. The ones who lose out just don't publicize it.

Legitimate jobs for WAHM

Scam Free Employment For Stay at Home Moms

Scam Free Employment For Stay at Home Moms -
I personally have been scammed out of about $245 online. Once I was trying to open a new business and had to send away to China for samples. I have also done "Get Paid To" sites and Survey sites. I'm not a big fan of either because I always felt like a chicken with my head cut off. I was constantly recruiting people. Sometimes they didn't even get credit for the offers they were charged for.

When I think of work at home employment, I always think of a real job, like accounting, teaching, , administrative assistant, writer, etc. I never think about stuffing envelopes, or taking surveys because I know how much work and how tediuous it is for the pay.

Most moms that leave their careers to stay home want to replace or come as close to their former incomes a possible and unless you are going to spend all day filling out trial offers that you have to cancel in 14 days, its not going to happen.

On my website Getrichmom there is a long list of over 100 jobs. They include telecommuting jobs for teachers and tutors, accountants, transciptionist. Stop on by and check it out.
